Today we release ‘Waking Up in the Future’, our ninth studio album.
Written and recorded in Portland, Oregon. Exploring themes of time, the future, romance, and optimism through a blend of guitar-driven songwriting, electronic textures, and cinematic production.
Produced by Danny Delegato and Isaak Boornstein, (@streetsh0es) plus mixing duties. The album was mastered by Gus Elg at Sky Onion Mastering (@sky_onion), this album represents years of ideas, experiments, late night breakthrough’s, and sheer belief in where music can take us.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring it to life: Phoebe Mandles for the artwork, Sean Allen (@seanjlallen) for the layout, and Isabelle Baumgartner (@izzyouterspace) for the album photography.

The record finds the band expanding their brit pop-influenced alternative sound into something more reflective, cinematic, and forward-looking—balancing melodic immediacy with late-night introspection.
Across nine tracks, Waking Up In The Future explores time, futuristic themes, romance, and quiet optimism (in an increasingly fast paced digital world), pairing warm guitar textures and hook-driven songwriting with subtle electronic elements, big drums, and lo-fi atmospheres. Songs shift effortlessly between intimate, late-night moments to expansive and cinematic passages."
